Rainfall Wrecks Havoc in Coimbatore

Torrential rain fall caused havoc in Coimbatore recently, as life in the city came to a grinding halt because of the subsequent water-logging in streets and sub-ways. Commuters and residents were left stranded for a long time as relief workers toiled hard to bring the situation to normal. The situation in the city turned worse the downpour uprooted many trees causing disruption in the power supply and also loss of greens in the city. Two persons were reportedly injured and the city was reeling under scorching heat from a long time and now that the rainfall welcomed relief to the residents in the city.
