No Comments Sub Category:Community Posted On: Oct 19, 2011

In an effort to boost the transportation services in Gurgaon, the Haryana Roadways has initiated a proposal to launch hundred new buses for the ring road in collaboration with mudrika service. The present mudrika service is suffering from a host of problems ranging  from deprecating condition of the buses to lack of technical staff to inadequate number of drivers. The department believes that the new service would solve these problems. The department confirmed that they would double staff and add more technicians to the service.

This will ensure that there is a smooth flow of the bus service. There are also plans to provide bus queue shelter between every 1 to 1.5km. Arun Kumar, director general of Haryana Roadways has said that there will be annual maintenance contract that will be handed for the 12 buses that are running on mudrika service now. He also said that the bus service will avail service to every corner of the city. To keep the bus service efficient, the department has planned to keep the routes exclusive for new and old Gurgaon to ensure that there is no overlapping of routes.
