Power Supply restored in Mumbai Apartments exceeded 50 hours

India is hit by major restored power supply issues since couple of months, the power cuts are exceeding beyond 12 hours in a day wherein the residents are finding tough time to cope up with daily activities. In Mumbai places like; Cuffe Parade and Maker Tower are facing power cut issues exceeding days.

One of the resident at Maker tower reported over personal experience with nearly 50 hours of power cuts and said that he and his family had a nightmarish experience and sub standard quality generators were arranged to fill in the gap for nearly three working days. The generators neither served the purpose of facilitating the residents for house old works nor did it favor functioning of lifts in a 25 storied apartment.

Atul Patil the deputy general manager of electric supply division of the BEST reported saying that the BEST and Tata Power companies are looking forward for arrival of Japanese company Nissin. The Japanese company had long back supplied a switchgear device in concern with the explanation of these devices the Japanese companies are flying down to India. Meanwhile the generators at the apartments stopped functioning leading to the residents losing sleep whole night, he added. However the residents of the apartments are blaming BEST officials for the weak battery backup of the generators.
