Multilevel parking in Connaught Place
Delhi will soon have an automated multilevel parking next year. The move is taken by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) considering the amount of parking chaos it creates. Though this is not something new as the proposal was recommended some two years back, however the Delhi Urban Arts Commission (DUAC) had waved the green signal to the project recently. The parking space will come up at the Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place and can accommodate 1406 cars.
Pedestrians can finally take a sigh of relief as the amendment of the proposal can finally sort out their woes. NDMC officials have said that the construction of the parking space is already over and with the consent of the DUAC the work will progress at a faster rate. The state-of-the-art parking space will have nine floors. The ground floor and first floor of the lot will have a shopping complex.
