ABW GroupDue to an inordinate delay in a project in Sector 61 to 65, a group of home buyers have lodged a complaint with the Gurgaon Police against ABW Group.

The buyers have paid between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 25 lakh after the project was introduced which was two and a half years ago.

The project – Krrish World – was a combined project of Brahma Group and Krrish Buildtech by ABW Group, which was launched in August 2010.

The project offers residential plots measuring 240,300 and 350 sq yd and these plots were booked by  buyers through various brokers. Also, the bookings were done after 15 percent of the total capital money, which is the value of specific floor sizes, were paid to the developer.

The home buyers paid around Rs 25 lakh though cheques and cash and this bookings were done during the month of September 2010 and they were acknowledged by the ABW Group. The buyers were not given any receipt or documents against the money they paid and no broker, sanction plan or documents were shown to the buyers after the payment.

The buyers said that during the time of booking, the builder showed builder-buyer agreement (BBA) and said that individual allotment will be delivered to their address respectively by November 2010. However, BBAs are still pending.

With all this confusion going on, the builders also said that they are waiting for the DTCP office allotment formal letter which will be given to each customer individually. There were no particular words or conversation happened between the builder and consumers.

Meanwhile, the builder informed that the projects: Brahma and Krrish Buildtech are in hold for now, henceforth there will be no allotment given to the consumers.

However, there is hardly any work on the construction site which can assure the work on the project is on.

ABW Group director said that there was a dispute and that the consumers will be given 240 sq yd plots. He also said that the buyers can withdraw their money if they want to and no compulsion to pay.
