Ahmedabad Chandkheda finally gets the Drainage Line

Chandkheda in Ahmedabad will soon get the drainage line after almost three years of waiting in a stretch. However the residents are ready to contribute over the construction of this drainage line in their area. Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) was listed under this project and was attached to the new west zone drainage. This drainage line is said to pass through town planning schemes.
The drainage line project is said to have a planned budget of over Rs. 8 crores and the detail project report has been sent to the higher concerned authorities. A senior official from the drainage department reported saying that they had plan of drainage construction soon before the roads in the town came under repair. The residents have to pay for their connection charge over dwelling the trunk line of this project. The implements used for the project is said have undergone the quality check strictly to avoid further issues over this drainage line.
