Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Cleanliness Drive

The cleanliness plan to fight malaria and dengue cases in Ahmedabad city. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) claimed that collection of wastes and garbage are being left over since long time, henceforth spreading out epidemic outbreaks all over the city. One of the senior municipal official belonging to solid waste management department reported saying that the garbage bins in the city are being cleared frequently and in the commercial areas where greater volumes of garbage are accumulated the clearance is said to be done only twice in a week.
Also official shared views about the clean city drive and added on saying that they have implemented nearly 85 new vehicles and 700 new garbage containers. AMC has already submitted a proposal to the state government worth Rs 118 crore for solid waste management system in the Ahmedabad. The official also added on saying that Euro-IV collection vehicles are expected to take th clean city drive and the project tender will be permitted by the state government. Residents of Ahmedabad are now in a sigh of relief and also contended with the step taken initiative by the city municipal authority.
