Allotment of industrial plots in Greater Noida cancelled by GNIDA
Around 15 industrial plots allocation has been cancelled by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority.
According to the authorities, the allotments were cancelled are of either 450 sqm or 1,000sqm, however GNIDA is looking for a fresh scheme re-allotment.
As the allottees failed to respond to the notices issued by the authority in October for delaying the execution of the lease, GNIDA canceled all the allotments last week.
Allottees who have failed to set up functional units even after after gaining possession of their industrial plots in Greater Noida and who had failed to enter into lease deeds are included in the list prepared by the authority.
Almost 15 allottees had been allocated in industrial plots several years ago, after the notice has been issued GNIDA have reviewed the status of the development work for over 2,000 industrial plots two months ago.
It is also been reported by the officials that it has been stalled, as several plots owners have not showed any interest in setting up functional units after allotment. Although action might be taken so that industrial plot owners should start setting up working units.
