Ansal API sells properties worth Rs 2,361 Cr

Property salesAnsal Properties & Infrastructure (Ansal API) has successfully sold properties worth Rs 2,361 crore, within 11 months, which is a little less than the sales of last year.

According to the latest reports, during April 2012-February 2013, the company has sold 18.64 million sq ft of area against 20.20 million sq ft in the corresponding period of previous year.

And as per the value of the sales, revenue has gone down to Rs 2,361 crore from Rs 2,389 crore even though the realisation per sq ft has been stable.

The maximum booking was done by Uttar Pradesh in terms of the volume as well as the values. The total area the company sold is 15.21 million sq ft which worth Rs 1,874 crore during this fiscal of April-February of 2012-13.

There are two new large townships coming up by Ansal API in UP.  One in :Lucknow : Sushant Golf City which spreads over 3530 acres and another in Greater Noida: Sushant Megapolis with a built up area of 2,504 acre.

Within this fiscal, the company has collected around Rs 1,764 crore excluding proceeds from the sale of two assets.

Ansal has quit almost 50 percent of its commercial project “The Campus” which is located at Greater Noida, for Rs 78 crore, of which Rs 15 crore has been collected. It has also offloaded the Bhatinda’s township project for Rs 35 crore. As per the operational update, it  has so far collected Rs 31 crore.

Ansal API had reported that a total consolidated profit of Rs 15.85 crore was collected in the third quarter of this fiscal against a net loss of Rs 21.01 crore in the previous year.

The total income of the company rose up by 23 percent to Rs 277.66 crore with  October-December quarter against Rs 226.18 crore compared to the corresponding period of the last year.

Although company’s net debt was declined to Rs 1,110.29 crore on last December from Rs 1208.77 crore at the end of the last year.
