Apartments in Mumbai woo rich with posh facilities
A number of builders in Mumbai are trying hard to attract buyers with hi-fi amenities in their properties.
Builders are pulling in on investors and buyers by developing projects with posh amenities like golf courses and other sports facilities. With the increasing state of the art features, the financial capital is finally getting some lung space.
However, this is not true with Delhi NCR and other cities in the South as they have no golf course-linked real estate communities. This is because of the hike in property prices and lack of space to adjust such facilities.
As of now, Mumbai has three 18-hole golf facilities in Willington Sports Club and United Services Club in South Mumbai and Bombay Presidency Golf Course in Chembur.
Builders also feel that with the restricted membership with the clubs, super rich will be more encouraged to invest more in such projects as a second vacation home option.
Developers have now known this for the fact that the elite group is more into such posh facilities. That is the reason, they started using differentiating strategies to sell projects in Mumbai.
Also, many of the international norms and standards are being used in these residential projects.
As per Jones Lang LaSalle India, lifestyle aspirations have risen, and there’s a lot of demand for theme housing projects. Even large golf courses are being added to a project to lure more buyers for a comfort living and also it increases the premium value of residential projects.
With a good golf course in a property, developer can easily lure wealthy NRIs, high net-worth individuals and the top management various companies in India.
Lodha group has already developed a golf course at its project Lodha Golflinks near Dombivali. The project boasts of terraced residences and luxury villas attached to the golf course. This project is spread across 50 acres and almost 30 acres has been used for the nine hole golf course.
Another project is also in its development phase by Lodha along with a gold course along the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
The city has other golf courses at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai, at Royal Palms in Goregaon, and one in Thane.
