landChandigarh- One of the past most scandalous land scams involving Robert Vadra, Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law,  has come into light again as IAS officer Ashok Khemka has demanded the state government to make the inquiry report as public rather than the selective leakage.

It was stated by the IAS officer that he was nowhere associated with the inquiry committee to assist it despite the fact he was authoring various land scam reports in the state. He further sought a copy of the inquiry report and owing to the issues raised by him, a committee which was formed related his two orders to Vadra’s land deals and submitted the report to the government.

One of the orders stated that the IAS officer set aside the mutation of Vadra-DLF land deal by confirming that the assistant consolidation officer executing the mutation was not fit for competition.

On the other hand, another order stated that the deputy commissioners of four districts of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Palwal and Mewat was asked to inspect all the documents pertaining the land deals which were registered in 2005 on behalf of the IAS officer and his company.

A clean chit by the probe committee was given to the IAS officer stating Khemka’s order pertaining the cancellation of mutation of Vadra’s land as one without jurisdiction. The government has kept mum about the findings of the committee.

The IAS officer in his letter also stated that he was not supplied with the consolidation of holdings and land records and that he is not aware of its terms of reference and its composition as he unearthed the order of the state government constituting inquiry committee to inquire into various land scams.

Henceforth the officer stated that some of the concerned government individual had provided the inquiry report  to the media.
