Automated LPG Booking System Relief for Consumers

There is good news for HP LPG consumers. The company has launched a 24 x 7 automated gas refill booking and complaint logging system for a hassle-free experience. Automated LPG booking system service will benefit over five lakh HP LPG consumers of the city. By the year end, it will be extended to all over the state, benefiting over 24 lakh HP consumers.

The service is in association with telecom service provider ‘Idea Cellular’ through a unique single-point number 99640 23456. You can book your refill through single No. HP Gas Helpline – 1716 or 12665. This is operative currently in major cities namely Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai,  Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune.

The number can be accessed from mobile phone or landline on completion of one-time registration through interactive voice response system (IVRS) on all days. The system will immediately provide the refill booking number for reference and prompt the user to register his/her telephone number.

Customers can register any three phone numbers. First-time users have to dial the number, select the language option, enter/dial the telephone number of their HP gas distributor, dial the six-digit consumer number, and then select the option for booking refill in that order.

You select options for refill booking/know the previous booking status/change in personal settings and registering complaints. When refill booking option is selected the system will immediately provide the refill booking number.

For the convenience of walk-in customers, fixed telephones are provided at all HP Gas distributors for direct access to the automated system. Customers can contact their gas distributor or call the Customer Service Cell on 28530547 for further information.

    The IVRS system does not recognise the landline no. of the local dealer. Even after 3-4 attempts, the system fails in identifying the dealer through the landline no. What is the use of such a silly system ? Moreover, the landline of the delaer hardly is ever attended to. At least 15-20 calls (AT LEAST !!) are required before a booking can be made. Ridiculous !!!

    After my booking of HP gas on IVRS I got message that booking is cancelled . KS Enterprise informed that No booking is neing done by IVRS. Is booking is not being done by IVRS at HP gas agency at Malviya nagar, Jaipur

    The HP Gas agency has sent a message to my mobile stating that your HP gas refill delivered vide cash memo no.150409, dt.03-03-2012at 4.59 PM.

    Howmany days required to deliver the gas cylinder from the distributer after receipt of above said message.
