Bangalore road medians get a new look
The present road medians and the tar roads are now planned to be re-constructed using cement.
This is the latest initiative taken by Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).
The main agenda behind BBMP laying these new type of medians is the increase in number of accident cases on Sarjapur Main Road near the Agara Tank Bund Road, Jakkasandra traffic signal junction and Agara traffic signal junction.
Around Rs.16 lakh has been estimated as budget cost for laying down these medians. The height of these medians will be 50 cms whereas the width will be around 40 cms and 20 cms from the bottom.
The traffic engineering cell of BBMP are keeping track of these works in the city.
However, this implementation is to improve the road discipline paving way for a hassle free and accident free commuting to the citizens of Bangalore.
