Bangalore roads decorated with potholes!
The potholes in Bangalore city was supposed to be filled up by 2011! The final deadline has lapsed and the potholes are taking shape of craters making commuters ride toughest!
The final deadline being December 30, 2011 was given by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) commissioner MK Shankarlinge Gowda.
It has been three months since the deadline has crossed and the civic body is least bothered to complete the work.
The road conditions from MG Road to Whitefield which is about 14.7-km stretch has more than hundreds of potholes.
The commuters can easily expect a pothole for every 30 meters. The main concern being that these stretches Whitefield, Marathahalli and Sarjapura Road all lead to IT hubs.
When asked about the same, the BBMP officials claim not to have cleared the bills yet! BBMP has to fill up potholes in the entire stretch of six wards at Kadugodi, Marathahalli, Garudachar Palya, Hagadur, Hoodi and Mahadevapura.
