Battle between Rahejas and Wadias continues in court
The high profile case between industrialist Nusli Wadia and real-estate developer Gopal Raheja about challenging the management rights over 460-acre land in Malad, drags on.
The court has now asked Ferani Hotels, owned by Raheja, to file their affidavit supporting its claims by August 22.
The court has asked Nusli Neville Wadia to submit his response by September 10. The final hearing is set to start on September 25.
The Rahejas had earlier claimed that Wadia’s role as the estate agent had ceased the original owner of the land is dead now.
In June the court ruled Gopal Raheja allowing his company Ferani Hotels to continue developing and selling properties on over 460-acre land in Malad. Both parties, represented by known advocates, are hoping to have the last say about the land.
