Dog menace is increasing in garden city Bangalore and there is no measure taken up to stop them.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike’s (BBMP) animal husbandry department has therefore planned to hold seminars Animal Birth Control (ABC) for BBMP school children.

According to many BBMP sources, the school children will also be educated about precautionary measures to be taken to avoid dog bite menace.

The Joint Director to Animal Husbandry Dr Parvez Ahmed Piran of BBMP has himself expressed helplessness towards unhealthy development of increased stray dog menace.

Also the BBMP officials complaint saying that many of the house owners chase dogs to their houses when BBMP vans go on beat for catching stray dogs. Due to this act BBMP comes empty handed every time they are out to trap a stray dog.

In the upcoming meeting BBMP has decided to take severe measures to control the rapid growth of stray dog menace at all the localities in Bangalore.
