BBMP yet to fix water leakage issues

Due to mass borewell digging the ground water level in Bangalore city has alarmed it’s citizens.

To add on to this threat N C Colony under S K Garden Ward of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has lodged a complaint in concern with water leakage, sanitary chambers oozing out sewage water.

On the other end there are awareness campaigns to save each and every drop of water.

The residents say that they took up the water leakage issue to Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) engineers. To the follow up of same the officials assured to fix the problem by replacing with new water pipes.

However, the current situation is that the storm water drain being dumped with garbage which needs much attention.

The corporator in reply to this issue say that BBMP as well as the MLA fund has sanctioned Rs 1.80 crore for the development of storm water drain.

    It is a fact that there is already scarcity of water and if water is wasted in such a way. We will have to repent for this in future.
