The civic departments in Mumbai are blaming each other over the red-tapism in the government departments and over this issue the Bombay High Court (BHC) has frowned upon the wrangling of the Road over Bridge (RoB) at Jogeshwari in Mumbai. The BHC is fed up with this case getting dragged in the court from long time and the court witnessed that the state government and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has been blaming over this issue one over the other.

Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority’s (MMRDA) has taken over the Mumbai Urban Transport Project in construction of RoB and this was expected to ease the Mumbai city traffic but still the work over the bridge is kept pending. Also RoB has many major issues wherein the concerned officials have accquired the land of the public over the construction of this bridge. Government pleader D A Nalavade reported saying that the BMC case proposal was booked during the month of August, 2011 but intern the BMC officials have been giving due reasons as to the state has not been responding over this issues instead of approaching it directly. He proposed a letter to the concerned authorities of civic department in consultation with MMRDA to bring in changes in the development regulations.
