Bhopal residents waiting for BMC budget for relief
Residents of Bhopal are waiting for Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) budget for a reason.
They have been deprived of basic amenities in the localities with problems like poor condition of roads.
The last year’s budget Rs 50 lakh has not been utilised and is likely to lapse by March 31. Due to which, the civic body has planned to allocate all the unfinished works in the next budget.
They are waiting for a better budget which would give priority to development of infrastructure and provide basic amenities.
The residents also allege that when it comes to collecting revenue, then the authorities would come and collect it in time but providing facilities always remain a s last priority.
