BMC finding better ways to clean city

1 Comment Sub Category:Community,Municipality Posted On: Mar 30, 2012

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) after two decades has finally planned to clean the roads in Mumbai city.

The city main roads are maximum of the time full with vehicles parked regularly.

Now that there is availability of treated waste water from Lovegrove Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and surplus water tankers, BMC has directed its workers to clean roads regularly.

The western and eastern suburb areas in Mumbai will be followed up with regular cleaning considering availability of water from STPs in Versova and Ghatkopar.

Also, the residents of apartments in Mumbai have liked the idea of cleaning roads regularly with water.
