Burning garbage creates problem for Bangaloreans

No Comments Sub Category:Community,Municipality Posted On: Mar 27, 2012

Heaps of garbage and their burning has been creating problem for the denizens of Bangalore.

BBMP commissioner MK Shankarlinge Gowda has taken the initiative of putting a fine of Rs 10000 on people who burn garbage at the roadside.

However, the problem persists on the road adjoining Dr Rajkumar Children’s Park in Chamarajpet and the civic body is acting to be unaware of it.

The three wards in the neighbourhood are Chamarajpet, Hanumanthanagar and Azadnagar.

But all the three corporators from the respective wards are not ready to take any action.

It has been a daily routine for the people and children going for a walk at the park. The number has declined in recent times due to unbearable stench and unpleasant sight.
