Chennai fails to keep track of regular garbage collection
Residents of Chennai are fed up with the garbage management system kept by the Chennai City Corporation.
Even though there are sufficient dumping yards in the city, the illegal dumping has not been stopped.
The resident complain saying that they expected the corporation to keep the work updated after the local body elections.
This hope has been brought down as the garbage is hardly being collected regularly. Residents need to walk all the way more than a kilometre to dump the garbage everyday.
However, the residents have requested the corporation to keep regular track of garbage collection.
