City turns into waste land!
Even gardens and parks would stink in a scenario what Vilappilsala is facing now!
Residents of Vilappilsala are worried over the waste management system in their city.
The city’s municipal corporation has recently stopped collecting garbage and wastes from residential complexes and hotels. Hotels, being the highest producer of wastes are very worried over the situation.
A three months of notice has been sent to the corporation to work on the waste management system but all in vain.
The corporation officials have maintained that alternatives procedures like source-level waste management and collecting wastes from door-to-door capaign will be implemented soon.
