The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) ended up delaying taking up decisions on providing housing sectors for the civic employees in Mumbai.
The Torna Cooperative Housing Society had allotted 4,000 sq m of plot at Borla Village, Chembur and respectively the employees had deposited lease amount.
However, since then these civic employees have not got possession of their plots on this land. Therefore, the case was put up at High Court and a division bench of Justices taking care of this case petition.
