Civic issues in Koramangala
There seems to be no end to civic grievances to the residents of Koramangala in Bangalore city.
Recently, residents raised up issues regarding encroachment of footpaths by petty shops.
Now, the issue is getting more serious as residents have started witnessing tobacco being sold in the residential area.
Soon after the complaint lodged, namma BBMP took a timely action to check the tobacco products being sold in objected places.
This came as a complaint from residents of KHB colony in Koramangala.
BBMP health officials after a tough round of inspection found that almost half a dozen of shopkeepers in Koramangala were found selling cigarettes and tobacco products near public places.
As a final call and with the follow up with residents complaints, namma BBMP warned all the shopkeepers to stop selling tobacco in the residential areas.
