Commissionerate of Income Tax slapped a notice on BMRCL

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.(BMRCL) recently received a notice on account of failing to deposit Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). Situations are being turned from bad to worse for Bangalore Metro as the foundation of it is loosing complete grip. All these days it was the revenue of these feeder buses and the rumors of metro stopping its service as not many commuters are using the train for daily commuting and now its time for them have not paid tax.
The fact is that, the number of passengers traveling in metro has come down to a count of 20,000 for a day and this has reduced the revenue of Bangalore metro services ending up in not paying the taxes on time. However the tax department also do not want to compromise and henceforth the tax notice was issued by the commissioner two months ago. Sources informed saying that BMRCL is not faring well, obeying the orders of the tax departments. It is in the hands of the tax department to decide the after consequences in concern with BMRCL.
