Committee aiming to internationally brand Mysore Dasara

The festival committee is aiming to internationally brand Dasara. Besides traditional jumbo savari, committee has also invited troupes from Pakistan and Botswana to perform in the celebrations. The Pakistani troupe will enthrall the audience with their Qawali while the troupe from Botswana will either be a part of the jumbo savari procession or perform at the Bani mantap on the Dasara evening.
The committee has also introduce adventure games. Water adventure sports including water skiing, water scooter and other events will be held on Varana Lake. Terrestrial sports including hot air ballooning, horse riding and other races are being held.
