No Comments Sub Category:Community,Municipality Posted On: Nov 04, 2011
The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) at New Delhi has decide to scrutinize all the Drinking Water and Sanitation schemes in concern with the Rural Development Ministry and also Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation. Union minister of Delhi, Mr. Jairam Ramesh reported saying that the walled city has a record for spending a large sum of Rs. 88,000 crores on the public expenditures.
Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has been asked to take initiative of these developments to ensure transparency in these works. The over all decision and final plan, total expenditure is all depended on the CAG and the same orders will be carried on by the Ministry of Rural Development and also Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation. This scheme sounds pretty serious and is sure to provide the needful to the residents of Delhi.
The state government has also informed to the residents that the improper supply of drinking water, maintenance of sanitation and many such issues have been planned in such a way that they are sure not to receive any more complaints from residents. The residents of Delhi are in a glee with the positive decision taken by the government and the CAG authority.
