No Comments Sub Category:Realty News Posted On: Aug 25, 2014

The rejects call for 80 percent reservation of flats for people living in Delhi in 2014 Housing Scheme by The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Thursday rejected the proposal of allowing around 80 percent reservation of flats for the residents in the upcoming 2014 Housing Scheme.

While the final date of launching the scheme will be announced on Friday, Delhi Lieutenant Governor on Thursday’s board meeting cleared the biggest ever housing scheme in the national Capital. Several new clauses in the scheme were tabled in the DDA’s authority meeting, chaired by LG Najeeb Jung.

The LG along with the housing agency, however, dropped the proposal to give a reservation of 80 percent flats for residents of Delhi. The step to keep aside 80 percent of the housing units for Delhi residents has been scrapped.

However the details have not been provided as why the decision was taken by DDA to not allot the residents in the housing scheme. Probably by the next few days the things will be clear as why such the decision has been taken by Delhi Development Authority.
