Delhi farmers upset over land bill
Delegation of Delhi farmers has met Union Rural Development minister Jairam Ramesh to convey their disappointment on the systematic watering down of a draft of the Land Acquisition Bill by the Group of Ministers.
More than 300 special economic zones have come up on the fertile land of the farmers and they are not been benefited in any ways. As per the reports of the Ministry of Finance the nation has lost over Rs 163,000 crore in revenue till 2010.
National manufacturing policy (NMP) had plans to acquire larger areas for without any plans for employment or rehabilitation, when the fact that 50 crore individuals are provided their source of livelihood by the unorganised sector.
