Delhi gets two months to solve water logging
A Delhi High Court bench has given two months time to Delhi government to find out short and long term solutions to the problem of water logging in the city.
The government has been asked to look into suggestions from IIT professors to alleviate the water logging faced by citizens. The court held the Delhi government, the transport commissioner and the Delhi Integrated Multi-Model Transit System responsible for the plight of residents.
The court has sought their replies by December 18 on the contempt plea filed by Jangpura Residents Welfare Association.
