twin towersDelhi-NCR to get its first world trade center at Spire Edge in Manesar. This is an integrated 1.6 million sq.ft mixed use IT/ITeS development.

WTC Manesar ‘s Senior General Manager, Khair Ull Nissa commented that Spire Edge has undergone a lot of painstaking assessment conducted by World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), to get tagged as WTC. India has already got WTC in Mumbai and Bangalore, and this is the third in the nation.

This project spread across 10 acre costing approximately Rs. 1000 crore. Now it has become one of the globally recognised business center, among more than 330 WTCs in 100 countries.

WTCA’s target is to promote global trade by setting up WTCs across the world. They are a US-based  non-profitable organization.

Just because of their networking and various support functions, local companies are getting an opportunity to get themselves involved in the global market.

Out of one million sq ft of area, 1.6 million sq ft area has already been completed and is now ready to implement. An area of 4,00,000 sq ft has given on lease. The project dedicates 1.3 million sq ft of area for office space, while 70,000 sq ft is for retail and 150 service apartments.

As per Nissa, Spire Edge was anyway meeting global standards because of its physical facilities, but to reach the status of WTC, they had to add some services to the project.

WTC Manesar will now work with global trade organizations and with the trade consulates to provide market research and relevant information. They are planning to organise exhibitions and different group trade missions also.
