Fire stations at Pune
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has been approved by the commission in charge to install the permanent fire brigade station in the PMC building premises and all over the Pune citty . This fire plant is said to been planned the budget nearly 2 lakh liters of water tank, pipelines and also smoke detectors in it. The committee under the chairmanship of N V Merani the former principal secretary of the Public Works Department Pune reported saying that he had suggested certain regulations that needs to be followed up the concerned authorities and this regulations encompasses of roads with sufficient restrains to avoid traffic, security outputs, proper lighting system at signal posts and also mainly fire safety requirements at all public buildings.
The chief fire officer Prashant Ranpise reported saying that the budget of 85 lakhs was sanctioned for the installations of the fire stations but these funds were founded to be diverted to other civic works henceforth a consultant has been appointed to have a check over the fire stations which are prevailing and also yet to be established. The wing has to take this in concern as seriously as possible as the terrorist activities traces have been found frequently.
The mayor Rajpal Singh has warned the concerned officials of civic security department to take over strict management over this issue and the local corporators discussed in the General Body meeting on the back drop of a fire catch in the PMC area premise. This incident has made a high alert to the PMC department thus resulting in installation of Fire Stations all over the city to avoid public woes at time of emergencies.
