Garbage disposal system to get a new look in Kolkata!
Kolkata is soon going to sight a new look of its garbage disposal system.
In coming March, Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has promised no overflowing of garbage from the bins.
The civic body has taken initiative of replacing the earlier larger vessels into smaller movable compactors.
These improved bins will be bought by Kolkata Environment Improvement Project (KEIP).
Moreover, the civic body has prepared a project of Rs 20 crore to take care of the city’s garbage system. Apart from this, 5,000 new fiber-glass bins will be bought and be kept near the market places.
