GDCA will not launch any real estate project
The higher officials of Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) decided not to take up any real estate development project as of now.
Ideally the present focus of GCDA is to prepare a land bank by owning more stock of lands.
As the government ruled out new policy of public private partnership, GCDA is looking for projects where they must hold more than 50 percent share.
It is also decided that the authority will be involved in the trading of land in prime locations for the real estate development projects.
