GHMC shifts garbage transfer station to Afzalgunj
The garbage transfer point at Imlibun in Hyderabad will be shifted temporarily to Afzalgunj in the neighbourhood.
This initiative was taken by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to modernize the current garbage station.
After the locals and their representatives gave their consent, civic body has decided to do so.
Initially, a meeting was conducted and tree points were chosen, namely opposite the high court area Puranapul, Rangmahal and Afzalgunj.
However, after the officials visited the areas, it was found that first two localities were under court case and Afzalgunj was finally found to be feasible.
