Gurgaon residents build bus shelters for protection against heat
Residents of the apartments in Gurgaon have taken the initiative of building bus shelters for this scorching summer.
The resident welfare association (RWA) of the Sector 10 has put forward this plan by contributing money equally.
Five bus shelters have been constructed to protect school children and their parents.
Around Rs 3 lakh has been spent from the association funds and the shelters have been built in Pataudi Road near Euro School, close to the community centre, T-point at Sakhi Chowk and near Umang Bhardwaj Chowk.
The residents had thought about this long time back and even consulted Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) but had to go forward as the civic body was delaying it from their part.
