1 Comment Sub Category:Apartment News,Awareness,Gurgaon Posted On: Jun 08, 2012

The new hike in electricity bill has surprised the residents of apartments in Gurgaon, since they were not expecting it due to the frequent power cuts.

The power cuts in the city were observed for more than 10-12 hours.

Even the domestic security deposit has increased from Rs. 1,000 to Rs 1,500. Now, the residents in Gurgaon are protesting over the power cut and hike in electricity bills.

The new rates that the residents are paying now is Rs. 5.15 per unit instead of Rs. 4.50.

The residents also state that they do not mind paying such an amount as long as they get proper service i.e., continuous power supply.
