HMDA Hyderabad on a lake protection drive
Witnessing the poor condition of lake, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has formed a seperate branch to save lakes in the city.
The new division so formed will coordinate with district collectors of Hyderabad, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), irrigation department, municipalities and gram panchayats in the surrounding localities.
Hussainsagar lakes will be listed and a team of officials will visit these lakes and identify the requirements, revenue needed for the restoration of lakes.
Furthermore, another team of officials will visit other lakes under HUDA region for their betterment.
