HMRL received land from Sarathi Studios for Metro Railway Project
Sarathi Studios have accepted to give its major land in Ameerpet to meet the need of Hyderabad metro rail project to build an interchange cum circulation area. This will act as a catalyst for the Hyderabad metro rail project. The interchange that will be built shall help facilitating passengers to move within two corridors. The two corridors between which this interchange cum circulation area will be built are corridor-I (Miyapur-LB Nagar) and corridor-III (Nagole-Shilparamam).
In order to meet this project it had been necessary for the Metro Rail department of Hyderabad (HMRL) to get the land located in Ameerpet. This land in Ameerpet is under the Sarathi Studios.
The authorities in Hyderabad Metro Railway had given information to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) land ceasing wing that the land has been made available as the owner had agreed. But due to specific duties during the election period the land ceasing task which was supposed to be carried on by GHMC had delayed. In case Sarathi Studios had not agreed to give the land for the project, the project might have been delayed. However the agreement with Sarathi Studios has helped HMRL to speed the construction of the interchange cum circulation area.
