Huda begins re-carpeting of Gurgaon roads
The Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) began re-carpeting of Gurgaon city roads after rains had caused waterlogging and potholes on the city roads.
The impact of rains on the city roads, including those carpeted a couple of months ago, has been highlighted in the press and the authority has promptly reacted to the matter.
The service lanes were in a bad shape, especially near Sikandarpur and MG Road Metro stations, and most of the city roads developed cracks and potholes after the rains.
The residents have alleged that the poor quality of materials used by the contractors is to be blamed for the debacle.
