HUDA chief pulled for delay in Sector 21 road
Gurgaon- With the visit of the Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the issue of the delay of the Sector 21 road came into light.
Hooda, questioned the HUDA administrator and deputy commissioner concerning the delay. Reports state that the delay was due to the stay order for almost three years.
In the year 1983, the Sector 21 was planned and formed, with people living there since 1984. Perhaps the government had planned five roads in the Sector but not even one road was built for commuting.
As per Umed Singh, RWA president, a stay order was sought from the court for a part of land by the villagers of Dundahera constituting about about 100 metres of road connecting to Sector 21 along with old Delhi-Gurgaon road. Perhaps the authorities have seldom paid any interest to get the stay order vacated as per the maximum number of public interests.
Apart from the roads, the main sewerage lines of this Sector is also not completely constructed which apparently compels the residents to expel the waste from entering their homes.
Also as per the Sector’s residents, there have also been many illegal houses coming up on the disputed land patch and there has not been a single authority reporting it in the court.
It is said that within the next three months, the connectivity of Sector 21 will be improved by the local authorities after since the chief minister’s instructions.
