HUDA spends Rs 605 crore for area development

Recently, the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) approved a budget of Rs 890.77 crore, in which Gurgaon got the lion’s share of Rs 605.48 for the development work in the urban sector across the state.

The development project consists of storm water drainage system, construction of a flyover and special repairs of roads connecting Surajkund. This development project was approved by the HUDA’s sub-committee, popularly known as HUDA Authority, chaired by chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, during the 34th meeting of the committee.

For constructing the master stormwater drainage along with the Master Road in new sectors from Sectors 81-98, Gurgaon, an amount of Rs 253.02 will be solemnly dedicated and for the construction of Kost Nallah (Drain) with RCC box drain from Sector 58 to Sohna Road, Gurgaon, Rs 87.52 crore will be spend.

Also for Gurgaon’s Master Water Supply Scheme (Zone-I) Urban Estate, the authority has approved a budget of Rs 26.49 crore for its augmentation.

Rs. 85.05 crore will is approved for other projects in Gurgaon like special repair of Surajkund Road from Gurgaon Mor-Ankhir Chowk-Suraj Kund Chowk to Pehladpur Border in Faridabad district. Along with this construction, Badshahpur Nallah with RCC box drain from Sohna Road to NH-8, Gurgaon project also got the green signal and got an approval of Rs 77.23 crore.

The railway portion of ROB between LC No. 29 and 30 at railway km 37/3-4 on Delhi-Rewari section near Basai Dhankot Station will be constructed and the board has approved a sum of Rs 63.91 crore for the constructional work.

The construction of the  3rd unit of 22MGD at the second water works at Chandu Budhera, Gurgaon along with Master Water Supply Scheme for zone – III, IV, V, VI, VII and VIII, Gurgaon also got an approval with Rs 38.30 crore.

A total amount of Rs 34.6 crore will be dedicated for the construction of flyover at Subhash Chowk along the road from Bhaktawar Chowk to Hero Honda Chowk, Gurgaon.

Even to reconstruct and strengthen the existing Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road (section – IFFCO Chowk to Delhi border), in Gurgaon, Government has approved Rs 24.41 crore.

There are few other development projects which includes Rewari, Rohtak, Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, Sonipat, Kuruskhtra and Jind cities got the approval.
