Guess what? The new nickname for Hyderabad is “water-starved city”. Such is the water crisis situation in Hyderabad wherein the residents of apartments in Hyderabad has no other go but to depend on water tankers.
One cannot predict the proper supply of water, however the water tankers in the city are making big time time utilizing the water crisis situation!
Borewells are drying up and on the other end the mineral water manufacturers are thirsty making good business.
Alwal, Bollarum, Kukatpally, A S Rao Nagar, Bowenpally, Miyapur, BHEL and Sainikpuri residential areas in Hyderabad are the major business attractions for the mineral water manufacturers.
Meanwhile, mineral water supply mafia has been traced to be mushrooming in Hyderabad. Followed up to which citizens had lodged complaint and till date no action has been taken by Hyderabad police force.
