Hyderabad Water Tanker Owners strike issues cleared

The Hyderabad Water Tanker Owners Joint Action Committee (JAC) has called off the strike they had decided to stage on the 1st of October. The association members had long-standing demands reported to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) and also prior strike notice was given to these authorities. JAC representatives were called for a meeting to withdraw the strike they had pledged on the tentative days. The authorities were requested to call off the strike since this is a festive season.
One of the officials reported saying that, the discussions had with the JAC representatives were fruitful and also announced to the residents saying that the water tankers will continue the supply as usual in Hyderabad.
