IBM aims for smart city in facilitation with City Municipal Corporations
IBM who is a renowned leader in global info-tech has decided to aim for clean city in India with collaboration of city municipal corporations. IBM India & South Asia Director for Software Group Pradeep Nair reported over their new plan saying that they are in a position to name few cities in which the smart city drive will be evaluated and also the talks are happening with the city municipal authorities to execute a aim-able plan.
The officer also said that their company is sure of lending helping hand to the city municipal authorities in concern with this same discussions are also ongoing. He gave out a hint of IBM plan overview for “smart city“, he added saying that they have plans of improving health department, public safety agencies, energy resources and many such. They are ready to set up IBM Intelligent Operations Centre in all the cities where they are implementing “smart city” drive.
Nair spoke about the background on the launch of IBM Intelligent Operations Centre for Smarter Cities and said that they are only aiming high to provide a holistic view of municipal departments and also to keep the keep the city clean. IBM is looking forward for the responses from the city municipal authorities, henceforth later on the work is promised to commence at the earliest and will be helpful for the residents of India.
