Indiareit exits from 3 deals
Indiareit Fund Advisors, the real estate private equity arm of Piramal Enterprises who invested Rs 440 crores has exited from the three realty projects including a residential project in Pune, a premium luxury project in Mumbai and phased stake sale of an SEZ within a township project located at Hinjewadi, Pune, being developed by Paranjape Schemes and one from a third party. In the near future, Indiareit Fund Advisors expects to raise its revenue by another $120 million through more exists.
Many private equity firms are planning to make exits who invested during the period of 2006-2007 as the tenure is getting over.
From the previous exits the investors have got an amount of Rs 905 crores. According to property consultancy agency, Jones Lang LaSalle, in 2005, foreign investors have invested $13 billions in the Indian real estate market and they are expecting $5 billion worth of investments in the coming years.
