Kanpur termed as pedestrian unfriendly city!
Pedestrians’ sufferings see no end in Kanpur!
Firstly, it was heaps of garbage which was creating quiet a menace for the commuters.
Because of the dustbins kept on the roads, a view of traffic jam is a regular scene.
Secondly, the Kanpur municipal corporation (KMC) has been widening the road for accommodating the vehicles, shrinking the pavement making it more congested.
There has also been a increase in population and vendors on the road causing more chaos between pedestrians.
Residents and locals in areas like Meston road, Hospital road, Kidwai Nagar main road face most of the problem.
