KDA to construct 600 plots
Kanpur Development Authority will soon make available 600 plots for people under Highway Extension and Shatabdi Phase III scheme. The KDA additional secretary had decided to float 112 plots under Highway Extension and around 500 in Shatabdi Phase III Scheme.
Under Highway Extension part-2, the authority had identified 23 MIG (112.50 metres of plot), 65 LIG (60 metres of plot) and 24 EWS plots (30 metres each). Application for these plots would be invited soon.
The authority had already chalked out plan to construct 1,708 residential flats at Jawharpuram in Kalyanpur and Mainawati Marg. The authorities stated that they are waiting for clearance from environment department. Once KDA get clearance from environment department then work would be geared up. These residential flats may come up by the end of end of next year although it has not yet been clearly stated as when the work of this construction might commence. However it is being expected that once the clearance certificates and other certificates are acquired by the Kanpur Development Authority the constructional work for these 600 flats under the Highway Extension plan would start.
