Kochi witnesses on-going Illegal Slaughtering and Dumping of Wastes

Dumping of wastes in the city area is not being paused even after the orders passed by the Pollution Control Board (PCB) in Kochi city. Illegal slaughtering also traced out to be increasing in Chambakkara canal at Vyttila. This has paved way for the increase of chaos in the municipal wing and also dumping of wastes in the illegal sites has spread across the menace in the city. One of the resident in Kochi reported saying that, he had filed a Public Interest Litigation against the corporation of the city under the duty of  Kerala Municipality Act. The petitioner also added on saying that the conditions on of the roads at Champakkara market has turned situations from bad to worse.
Also the residents feels low for the pathetic scenario of the city wherein the generated wastes are being dumped into the back waters, spoiling the environment. Also human’s cheapest act slaughtering of animals are spreading all over the city and the dead animals wastes are seen on almost all the city roads and canals, he added. The residents of Kochi are fed up by lodging on-going complaints to the civic authorities and also the municipality as there is dead response from both the authorities. The residents are surviving in such a stink that they have a threat of developing any epidermic outbreak in the city.
